On July 1st, most employers in California will have to comply with the new Senate Bill 553, which aims to protect employees and organizations by reducing incidents of workplace violence. A few weeks ago, we posted about California's new Workplace Violence Prevention Law that requires employers to create, maintain, and implement a written workplace violence prevention plan as of July 1, 2024. There are 13 different requirements that we will be discussing in the months ahead.
