🚀 Zepto was born out of a collaboration between 3 computer science students at a top university. The trio—Emma, Max, and Sam—shared a passion for artificial intelligence and its potential to revolutionize everyday tasks. 🚀 The name "Zepto" came from their desire to convey the speed and efficiency of their AI assistant. A "zeptosecond" is one trillionth of a second, symbolizing the instant responsiveness they aimed to achieve with their technology. 🚀 Securing seed funding became crucial to scale their operations. They pitched their idea to several venture capital firms and angel investors, emphasizing the growing demand for AI-driven productivity tools. Their hard work paid off when they received their first round of funding. With the investment, they were able to expand their team, improve the product's AI capabilities, and launch a beta version for public testing. DTU Skylab launches its start-up accelerator for timetech ⏱️ Today marks a bold move in the history of deep tech, as we are launching our very first accelerator program aimed at a brand-new influx of quantum mechanic startups focusing on the concept of time-related topics. “Last year, DTU had a strong focus on the quantum tech field, and during our application round for our programs, we saw a lot of applications that involved the utilization of quantum mechanics in order to grasp the power of time for a lot of different topics,” says Mikkel Sørensen, Director of DTU Skylab. While most of the startups are under strict NDAs, we have been cleared to tell about the startup RosenBridges, which is currently developing a prototype that’s able to help busy people win back approximately 15 minutes of time from fully booked days with back-to-back meetings. “Although this project is very early, the team behind RosenBridges has proved their ground during this Spring’s Skylab Ignite program,” Mikkel continues. The quantum-based startups can be experienced in person at select guided tours, which are to be announced in the coming week.
