Excited to share the success story of our recent TOWN HALL MEETING, proving that sticking with an idea and making tweaks can lead to big wins. Three years ago, when the concept of integrating this communication format into our organization was first broached, the objective was clear: to cultivate an open forum for sharing strategic insights with all colleagues, contributing to the collective vision for global animal welfare. Our aim was twofold - not just to define WHAT we should work on, but also to collaboratively chart the course of HOW to reach those objectives. The first editions were good, bringing us closer to our big vision. But we felt like something was missing – it's tough to get it right when exchanging information in an online format with such a diverse audience. Still, we didn't give up. Now, as we start to wrap up 2023, we're celebrating because this time we got it much closer to perfect! There's always more to learn and ways to get better, and we've got new ideas in the making. It's awesome to take a moment and celebrate this win together. FOUR PAWS is all of us, and by working together, we're making the planet better for everyone. Sometimes, inspiration comes in the form of a furry friend! 🐶 I recently stumbled upon this heartwarming video on my phone from our annual Face-to-Face meeting in Colorado. Our incredible DEI trainer surprised us all by bringing an adorable puppy to the Coleman team gathering. And let me tell you, the impact was far greater than any of us could have imagined. As a Chief Innovation Officer, I'm constantly seeking ways to cultivate an environment that encourages innovation, growth, and, most importantly, inclusivity. That day, with our furry companion, we achieved all of that and more. The puppy created a space where walls came down, laughter echoed through the room, and bonds were strengthened. Innovation doesn't always have to start with technology or processes. Sometimes, it begins with fostering a sense of belonging, and our four-legged friend did just that. We found that when people feel comfortable, valued, and part of a caring community, their creativity and willingness to collaborate soar to new heights. This experience reinforced the importance of thinking outside the box and embracing unconventional approaches to innovation. It reminded us that innovation isn't just about technology; it's about the people, the culture, and the relationships we build along the way. 🌟 I feel Hidden Trail just keeps getting a better place to work at! 🌟 I'm thrilled to share a sneak peek of the internal culture development at Hidden Trail, one that highlights how our people are committed to creating the best possible culture! 🚀 Some of you might be aware of Hidden Trail's trip to Berlin earlier this spring. But it wasn't all fun and games. We also engaged in some serious workshopping: Our very own Jani Grönman facilitated a session where, together with everyone, we focused on what makes our culture great and what we need to do to preserve those qualities and improve others. 📈 From this, we have now developed a Company Constitution that serves as our moral compass, guiding our decision-making. This constitution ensures that our culture remains aligned with our values and safeguards our employees' rights.
