Is this the beginning of a cyber military branch (Cyber Force)? To me, it seems like it's inevitable that the military will recognize cyber as a domain unto itself, requiring military leadership with knowledge, and uniformed members with abilities specialized to that domain. The US hasn't established a visible presence in cyberspace the way we have in other domains. It seems to me that this is part of the issue with continuous cyber attacks against our agencies, universities, schools, businesses, and critical infrastructure. Kinetic attacks, even with as limited impact as those cyber attacks that are published, would never go over so easily as their equivalent cyber attacks on going today. https://lnkd.in/efqAMfSs

What are the different tools and techniques for measuring the success of a large-scale cybersecurity exercise? We asked this question to the planner of Army Cyber Spartan 23, Daz Preuss, in our most recent webinar, where he walked us through the process of organizing this exercise. Organized by the British Army, ACS '23 was the latest iteration of a large-scale Live Fire training that brought together 320 participants from 6 different countries.
