Is benefit corporation status enough to hold AI accountable? 🤔 ChatGPT had some interesting points, but like us, it recognizes that this is only a first step—there’s still much more work ahead. As Andrew Kassoy highlighted in his recent op-ed in The New York Times, while #benefitcorporation status moves us in the right direction, it doesn’t provide the comprehensive safeguards necessary for fast-moving and high-impact sectors like artificial intelligence. What's your take on ChatGPT’s perspective? How can we ensure AI companies focus on the greater good? 📰 Check out Andrew’s full op-ed here and share your thoughts in the comments: https://nyti.ms/3Yn22yz #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #AIEthics #StakeholderGovernance

I personally believe that AI is not a threat, but rather a digital transformation akin to the rise of email or the internet in the 1990s. The notion that replacing "cheap" jobs with automation and AI will improve competitiveness is misguided. In reality, it will only drive down prices in areas where costs and margins are already razor-thin if used in that direction. AI is a powerful tool that should be leveraged where it excels - in complex and time-consuming tasks. AI has the potential for many wonderful, positive impacts in areas where human capabilities are limited, inefficient or time-consuming! When used judiciously, AI can actually help improve access to information. I recall a friend of mine who invests in bio-agriculture, helping farmers transform their businesses. He was dismayed to find that a mere 2 hours of legal advice cost the same as half a month's salary for the struggling farmer. In such cases, AI-powered solutions could help reduce the legal burden and provide the critical guidance these workers need. The key is ensuring AI is deployed equitably, so that access to information and resources is balanced between large corporations and isolated workers. Overall, I believe AI represents a digital transformation that can yield tremendous benefits across many industries and for a wide range of stakeholders. It just need to be used wisely and #bcorp status is a great FIRST step! Ps: message rewritten with AI 😂

In his presentation at Intersection 2024, Chris Meabe opened our eyes to the fascinating yet limited world of AI, particularly ChatGPT. Did you know, despite its advancements, AI still can’t conduct original research? ChatGPT leverages existing information but can't create new data. While AI can expedite processes and personalize experiences, it’s the user’s ability for original research and critical thinking that remains irreplaceable. Let’s embrace AI while acknowledging its limitations for a balanced approach to the future. Watch the full presentation below. (Link in the comments)👇 #AI #LimitationsOfAI

Thanks to ChatGPT and other advanced LLM models, my emails are now kinder, more professional, and straight to the point. Embracing AI has made communication more effective and efficient. It has also made me realize that using AI as a copilot is an art, which can be a valuable asset to communication specialists. #genai #AI #makinganimpact #bethechangemaker
