CHILE 📣 Zeroca aggregates carbon credit program under bilateral climate agreement with Switzerland ⏩ On December 9, 2023, Chile signed a bilateral climate agreement with Switzerland under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. This agreement created a financing opportunity for projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Chile, including those in e-mobility. Zeroca is now aggregating a program that will accelerate the transition to e-mobility through the participation of various key actors linked to the transportation sector (owners, suppliers or manufacturers of the technology, investors, operators, leasing companies, among others)! Last month, Meo Carbon Solutions and our sister company ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification received a delegation from South Africa, organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.   Our project managers, Julia Nevares and Lukas Huxold, discussed various aspects of certifications. One of the focal points was #eFuels under different modalities, such as ISCC EU and PLUS, as well as #CORSIA. The discussion also focused on the challenges associated with certification in emerging fields, including eFuels, hydrogen and Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (#RFNBOs).   A key highlight of the conversation was the shared commitment to sustainability and the exchange of ideas on the challenges and opportunities in adapting existing certification rules for third countries, with a particular focus on South Africa. This exchange of knowledge and expertise is crucial in navigating the evolving landscape of sustainability certifications and fostering collaboration on a global scale.   As we continue to work toward a green future for all, we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and stakeholders.    #Sustainability #Environment #ClimateAction
