I've noticed that practices most successful in their partnership with Mascotte share certain traits. Sometimes, letting the engineering team speak to the real problems can motivate the client towards real solutions. This whole notion of sales teams and engineering teams not being on the same page is a problem that I continually have to solve for companies, when brought in to handle "system issues". Sales teams provide feedback for engineers on the customer experience, and defines the fiscal opportunity/risk. Engineering teams provide insights to sales on design decisions, scheduling, known solutions, and should be the metric for a businesses productivity levels. Today Team Poland celebrate Fat Thursday - Poland's Tastiest Tradition!   Fat Thursday is a Christian holiday and marks the last Thursday before Lent which is the time of strict fasting and goes on for six weeks. This tradition dates back to the 16th century!   Regardless of beliefs, on this day, the whole country goes nuts for Polish Doughnuts (Paczki). We love our doughnuts so much we even have an idiom associated with it "live like a doughnut in butter" which you can translate as live in clover. It is believed that if you don't eat at least one doughnut that day you will be doomed for bad luck the rest of the year.
