The silent transformation killer? It’s not what you think. The killer → team spirit. Business transformation means change. For some, that can be unsettling. Ignoring how it affects your team's morale can derail even the most well-planned initiatives. Here is what I do to take a more people-centred approach to transformation: + Recognise emotions: Transformation stirs excitement and fear. Address both. + Transparency: Explain the 'why' and 'how' behind changes. + Engagement: Make the team part of the journey. + Provide resources: Equip teams for change with training and support. + Feedback loops: Regularly assess team spirit and adapt where necessary. Manage team spirit or don’t. It's your business transformation; your call.
