For a fencing lesson to be efficient and effective, it must both diagnose what the student needs to work on and facilitate improvement in that skill. Each part of a lesson helps to create a cohesive whole. It is not a random bunch of “exciting” techniques, each done a few times, with no rhyme or reason. This lesson structure concept works well for other kinds of lessons, too. It is very student-focused.
