Did you know that the current global academic system 🌍 is limited in its 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 in external engagement? 🤔 There's a lack of a globally agreed mechanism to 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 and 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐳𝐞 engagement, thus influencing the perception that this can give a positive outcome for an HEI. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) issued a request for information to solicit feedback from national laboratories, industry, academia, government agencies, to gather #publicinput from stakeholders across the #cleanenergy innovation and #entrepreneurship ecosystem regarding optimal strategies and opportunities to expand the quality, reach, impact, and equity of the Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program, LEEP. (LEEP is a two-year fellowship program historically supported by AMMTO.) Since its inception, LEEP has supported 202 fellows in partnership with four national labs, including Berkeley Lab, and other partners. The impact has been vast: 153 new businesses founded, receiving over $2.74B in follow-on capital and generating 2,358 new jobs across the country. 20th April, my calendar was marked with a paper presentation in a Coference. I woke only to realise I have had no time to prepare my presentation. And then suddenly I get a message for before hour office meeting. My presentation was scheduled at 12:15 p.m and we got free from meet at 11:30. I sat with heavy heart “aaj to presentation nahi ho payega”. Only then something in me pushed me to give it a try. I started making presentation with a thought atleast let’s give it a try. In 15 minutes my presentation was ready, I presented my paper entitled “ Identifying factors affecting sustainability of Startups using Multivocal literature technique” at International Conference on New Paradigms in Economy, Commerce and Society organised by Christ University, Delhi NCR. And wohooo here I am conferred with Best Research Paper Award in the track. Commitment and hardwork never goes in vain.
