Our actuators don't do everything - but when it counts, they do it better than the rest 💪🏻 Incidentally, Griffon Aerospace also thinks so. Their latest innovation, Valiant, which is an autonomous hybrid-electric VTOL UAV used for reconnaissance and surveillance missions, is controlled by our DA 15-N actuator as well as a bigger custom actuator for the tilt mechanism. For UAS such as the Valiant in particular, only the most reliable actuators are considered. Especially during critical missions, UAS must be able to react extremely precisely and quickly to control commands, especially in challenging situations such as wind gusts or fast maneuvers. Downtime or malfunctions can have disastrous consequences, especially during critical missions. Even high temperature differences or longer operating times are no problem for our DA 15-N. Better safe than sorry. Or as we at Volz call it: The benchmark for cutting edge actuator technology.
