Today, is #NationalNonprofitDay, I want to recognize the nonprofits that are doing important work in their communities. I particularly want to turn your attention to Live To Give MN. A recent community report from Elan Financial Services discusses the connection between charitable giving, local businesses, and customer loyalty based on a survey of 2,504 U.S. consumers conducted in April and May 2022. Key Takeways: 1. 43% of bridge millennials and 42% of millennials would move their accounts over to FIs that charitably support their local communities. 2. 74% of consumers donated money to charity in the past year, and 42% volunteered their time. 3. 93% of consumers who say their FIs were generous with their charitable contributions are very or extremely satisfied with their primary FIs.
