We announce the set up of a new venture named SPACE (www.exnovum.space)  in which we will commit ourselves to enhance our activities on Space Exploration and Colonization. The iniziative is a joint venture with the Swiss Institute for Disruptive Innovations ( https://lnkd.in/eiwc368U). After a first common experience with the joint container ECSEC ( European Center for Space Exploration and Colonization), in which we, Mars Planet Technologies, invented the first private course on #SpaceArchitecture,  we've come together to push the boundaries of space technology and exploration. In the spirit of Sisyphus, the Greek mythological figure tirelessly pushing a boulder up a mountain, we've learned that in the realm of technological innovation, challenges may arise, but persistence is key. Each attempt, successful or not, propels us closer to the stars. We've chosen exnovum.space as the launchpad for this renewed initiative, symbolizing our commitment to redefining concepts in space innovation. As a first result of this initiative our Mars City Academy (marscity.academy) and its future evolutions becomes the official e-learning platform of SIDI. I'm very happy to announce the result of another project I've been involved with in the last months, the creation of a partnership between Mars Planet Technologies and the Swiss Institute for Disruptive Innovation, two instituitions I've been been part of for some time now, which have joined forces to create SPACE (https://exnovum.space/), a cross-disciplinary platform aiming to gather the right people to build the future in Space, to acquire the much needed knowledge and expertise, so that concepts don't just look good on paper or CAD, but can work for real. My contribution to the creation of the platform, of which I'm part of the team, includes the design of the logo for it. Delegates have started arriving for the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), in Davos, Switzerland. Global leaders in government, private sector, academia, etc. are gathering in an effort to “shape global, regional, and industry agendas.” There are a couple of space-focused sessions such as Satellites as Storytellers; Big Questions: Impacts of Space Development + Exploration; Where will the Space Economy be by 2035; and The Purpose of Astronauts. WEF is structured into communities, one of which is the Global Future Councils. The aim of the Councils is to identify and share ideas, insights and innovations, for addressing complex global challenges. There are 30 Councils, each focusing on a thematic area including Future of Geopolitics, Future of Good Governance, Future of Technology Policy and Future of Space. One of the major outputs of the Global Future Council on the Future of Space is the Space Sustainability Rating (SSR), an award system to incentivise organisations to conduct space activities in a sustainable manner. The Council has also proposed the Space Sustainability Monitor (SSM), to track the implementation of international frameworks on space sustainability.
