Did you know that today is Patient Advocacy Day? While it's great that we build awareness around advocating for patients, we can't forget to focus on empowering patients to advocate for themselves. Patient advocacy IS patient engagement and, simply put, engagement is medicine. How can we empower our patients? It's not as hard as it seems. It's as simple as educating them, reminding them, updating them, and working alongside them throughout their journey. How else can we empower patients to advocate for their own outcomes? Would love to hear your thoughts!
