No tax relief in the budget yet again. Let’s face it. It’s not the tax paying part that hurts. It is the benefit that we don’t see or get out of paying tax that hurts. Let’s flip it around and start asking our representatives more perks for tax payers such as, - priority tickets in IRCTC portal - priority immigration clearance during international travels - express delivery of government services And many more.. Is this too much to ask for? What do you all think? #budget2024 #taxrelief #financeministry #newyear2024 #governmentinitiatives

Sid, as a country, we always had fiscal deficits (expenditure over revenue) and therefore the primary issue is government's ability to prioritise the available funds... The focus has been primarily towards the targeted sector across pillars of social-economic-judicial-defence development.. So, i don't see most of our wish (directly recognisable benefit/privilege) coming true until country as a whole moves up the value chain ..

Finally I see someone who has voiced out his opinion about the dissatisfaction of salaried Tax payers. The government does not want the Indian citizens to save it is forcing us to spend which is not a good sign for leading a standard ife style. End of the day CTC might look attractive post tax deduction you get only peanuts 🥜 JAI HIND
