There are 25 seats in total in the 8 states of the Northeast. Dynasty politics is much lower compared to other parts of India. Candidates with criminal antecedents are also very few.

BREAKING NEWS: There is a big change in Manipur. Manipur HC deleted its order to consider the Meitei an ST!! In March 2023, the Manipur HC passed an order asking the State Government to send a recommendation to the Centre to expeditiously grant ST status for the Meitei community. The Meiteis had approached the HC in 2012 to apply for an ST status, but the matter has been pending ever since. Since Meiteis live in the Imphal Valley, they cannot buy land in hill districts but tribals can buy land in the Imphal Valley. With the influx of illegal tribals from Myanmar, the Meiteis feared being outnumbered. The Kukis and Nagas, on the other hand, feared that if Meiteis (comprising 53% of the population) got the ST status, they would take over the opportunities of other tribals! It is uncertain as to which side attacked first, but attacks on a ‘solidarity march’ resulted in a civil war that claimed over 200 lives while displacing over 50,000 people! Last year, the order was challenged in the SC and the court stated that the order was ‘factually incorrect’ and against existing principles. As such, the Manipur HC deleted that clause yesterday, claiming that it was ‘against observations made by the Supreme Court’. Will this move help Manipur? Or worsen the situation?? In my previous post I said that my stand point is same. Today after the Public Polls my stand point is same. Non Cooperation with BJP, Non Cooperation with Modi, Non Cooperation with NDA; Not only that Non Cooperation with Manubaad and the followers of its. In 2014, in 2019 and today 2024 I'm always against all Manubaadi. If someone believe in particular Ideology, so, he or she don't reject that. In India koi Gandhibaadi, to koi Manubaadi to koi Marxbaadi to koi kisi aur Ideology pe. But everyone has his or her own choice and that's called the Democracy. 400 Paar Modi Sarkar means no Opposition. Common Indians are sentimental, but they are not fool. They wants Opposition in Parliament for their own rights. Today after this Poll Public Proved that they don't want 400+ Modi Government. Just listen the words of Public-Janta ki raay suno. Public wants Opposition in Parliament-Janta ki maang hai Samsaad par Birodhi. Everyone has own choice-Sabki niji soch hai. You love BJP and Modi,but everyone is not like you- Tum BJP aur Modi ko pasand karte ho, magar sab log tumhare jaise nehi. Came across a brilliant analysis of Dhule loksabha seat maharashtra. NDA candidate was Dr Bhamre (shinde shivsena). There are six assembly segments in Dhule. Of these six, Dr bhamre was leading in 5 assembly segments with a total lead of 192000 votes. Then in the sixth constituency ( malegaon - famous for col purohit sadhvi pragya case), this lead was wiped out because he got only 4000 votes in this constituency and his opponent got more than 2.5 lakh plus muslim votes. One muslim majority consttuency is enough to undo the lead obtained in five. Low turnout in five segments and full turnout in the sixth. Draw your own conclusions.
