𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟱𝟮 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 🚀 We are excited to share a significant milestone for our company: we have defined the mission and values of 152 Media! 🎉 A few days ago, we held an event where we could gather our entire 152 Media team, to enjoy a lunch and collectively define our mission and values. Besides being a great opportunity to connect with those we don't see daily, we could discuss what 152 Media means to us. As part of our #mission, we defined ourselves as pioneers in the development of innovative solutions for publishers. Our main objective is to maximize the profitability of digital advertising on websites by implementing continuous technological evolution to improve our services. Regarding our values, we highlighted five pillars of this company: 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆. We are grateful for the valuable contributions of every team member during this process. News brands can build audiences for the future if they understand the way that young news consumers build trust and what they value in terms of content, storytelling, and delivery formats. This view contrasts or challenges the basis of a trending book on culture that claims differentiation isn’t necessary for building brands that “move people.” That a product doesn’t have to be differentiated in function from category alternatives. But just key into “culture” to become a charismatic brand. Personally, I think both can be mutually inclusive in brand building - Solving problems that differentiate and being culturally relevant-and otherwise. When to do which should be primarily determined by market reality and thriving category dynamics. If I, however, must choose one over the other, Lucas Rodríguez POV here takes the win in this regard.
