How many golf balls can you fit inside a Range Rover? 🚙 This was a question asked in an interview to a software developer who had just been made redundant, and needed a new role quickly. This person had prepared for the interview, spent time and money in attending the interview and had high-hopes that he'd found something suitable, only to be presented with a completely ridiculous question which had absolutely no relevance on his suitability to do the job. If you are asking questions like this to people in an interview.....STOP. 🛑 ❌ If you were a colour, which one would you be? ❌ Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized horses? ❌ If you were a biscuit, which one would you be? ❌ If you were a tree, what kind would you be? Whilst they might seem amusing and light-hearted, they have no relevance on a candidates suitability for your role. Let's conduct interviews that are every bit as sensible and professional as they should be.
