It’s a great delight to come to Asia, a region known for its deep history, diverse heritage, and a powerhouse with heavy energy demand and strong supply to match.  Having worked across North America, Europe and the Middle East, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to helm #SLB in Asia as we transition into a new and exciting era to tackle the great #energytransition. Asia’s GDP is projected to grow between 4-5%. The region's approach to energy is evolving, with a focus on energy security as a central theme to drive economic growth, while progressively integrating #sustainability into its energy policies. Not forgetting that there can be no net zero without Asia, the completion of the joint venture with Aker Carbon Capture is much welcome news for there are abundant opportunities in this region. This joint venture will accelerate industrial decarbonization at scale, facilitating the broader adoption of both market-ready and innovative carbon capture technologies for power generation and hard-to-abate industrial sectors. Exciting times ahead for Asia! In this new role, I look forward to more shared successes with our SLB teams, customers, and various stakeholders globally. I am honored to have the opportunity to work alongside you to unlock new possibilities and drive our collective growth ahead.   ##WeAreSLB.
