I don't know what the work environment is like at the Starbucks where this woman works, or any Starbucks for that matter. And perhaps this woman's spirit is so unstoppable that she has this kind of impact on people no matter where she is. But I can all but guarantee that this kind of thing does not typically happen if employees weren't continually reminded by leadership why they matter to their customers. At least not consistently and at scale.

This will make you cry. All too often, I see people talking to each other with anger, frustration, incivility and with envy at work and at home. Like there is no time or space for kindness and love. Kindness, gratitude, love, forgiveness - these are the tools. All too often we can find common ground we can bring joy, even a simple smile goes a long way as opposed to a scoffed looked. Life is hard Be kind to yourself and to each other. If you are walking around with anger and hate coming out of you even as a means to get social media attention- think about the light that could exist between you and others if you found a way back to kindness👆. Shine that today at work or to the people you greet on the way- even if you start with yourself. Give it a go- tell yourself “hey I love you and I am proud of you”. Then begin to shine light on others. It is simple, it is free, and it can and does move mountains inside yourself and cause others less pain and self hate. “Try it-“I love you and I am proud of you”

7 ways to bring HOPE and spread kindness : 1- demonstrate love and care 2- make others feel they deserve happiness 3- show others acceptance 4- offer help 5- show others appreciation 6- help others find their passion 7- stay connected…. Life is never perfect. It always has ups and downs. It is during the difficult times that a word of encouragement and gestures of kindness are most helpful. Take time to sprinkle KINDNESS and bring HOPE to the lives of others. You never know how far it’ll go.
