Sharing our SDE of our Market(In) Sights event last May 23 which wonderfully captured moments that day. Thank you to all the CMOs and key executives who joined us and expressed how relevant and timely our insights are, affirming their hunches, updating them on what they need to do to improve their communications and marketing programs to engage and improve their customers' experience. As what our expert panelists said - here's the gist:
- Donald Patrick Lim: the wallet of consumers is shrinking and their disposable income but they will spend for something meaningful. Our take: thus brands need to continuously think of how they can add value to the lives of their customers. Price offs is NOT the solution.
- Wence Wenceslao, CPM : Brands need to start building communities and highlight the value they bring to consumers. Our take: Brands can start championing certain segments (that's aligned with their brand purpose) that need representation in advertising, build a community around them, nurture them. They will be their future brand ambassadors with a multiplier effect.
- Manny Gonzales: "We're seeing the power of digital as a catalyst for behavior change and enhancing experiences... but whatever shifts seen driven by digital, what matters most is looking back into your consumer as a human person - it will be your main determinant where to take the next communication, experience, activity you'd like to take your market." Our take: Indeed, the consumers are ever-evolving, reacting to stimuli in the market, need to continuously stay attuned with their needs and preferences to anticipate and not just react to their current needs. Be delightful and meaningful as a brand.
Have had a personal setback during this time but really couldn't move on without thanking and giving my heartfelt gratitude to our panelists for their invaluable insights - I couldn't ask for more!
