We opened All Staff Onboarding for the 2024-2025 Academic Year at Brilla Public Charter Schools by welcoming back two graduates to #inspire Brilla #educators! These young women are two stellar examples of #BrillianceInTheBronx. A little glimpse into what they had to say: "I am a living example, the ways my Brilla teachers supported me helped to foster my greatness. I say this because at Brilla I encountered many passionate adults who I could tell love teaching. I made a connection to my performance and realized that I did better academically in classes with teachers that I felt loved the work they were doing and believed in their students' success. My advice to all of you would be to always believe in your students' potential and to keep fostering those meaningful connections!" (Shanty, Brilla Class of 2021) "...and told me I’d have to regain her trust. I was sad and embarrassed, but it taught me an important lesson about trust and honesty.
