What are we paying you for?
This was the conversation my manager had
with me back in 2021. At that point, I felt powerless,
not in control. I so wanted to give her back, but I couldn’t
because I had bills to pay and other responsibilities!
But that day, I made one promise to myself:
I will not allow anyone in my life to talk to me like that.
You see, in life, you don’t get what you want; you get what you tolerate.
Soon after that incident, I started working on
myself and improving my skills with only one objective:
to achieve financial confidence. This means I can say no
to anything that I don’t want to do.
A few months later, I successfully quit my toxic job
and learned the skill of high-ticket closing,
which gave me the leverage of making money
on my own terms and from the comfort of my home!
The best part: I don’t have to deal with rude,
toxic people but with people who are helping me grow and improve!
We are always one decision away from improving our lives!
