Recently I’ve been experimenting with nature more. 🍃I’ve stopped watching and listening to the news to reduce negative chatter. And as I’m outside, I have a little chat in my mind with the trees and the birds. I know, it sounds weird. But when you try it, you realise we’re made of the same matter and so are really one with the natural world. Answers to big challenges seem easier to find. Resistance to decisions falls away. A big way I help my clients through career change is by looking at where stress exists in their lives and helping them find ways to reduce and relieve it. Nature offers that direct path. It’s been an eye- and mind-opening experience that has given me a lift in life that I didn’t know I needed. Give it a try. 🌲 🦅 How has nature has helped you? Dear Diary… I did a 20-minute nature walk today. For the first 5 minutes, I was distracted by the phone and my thoughts. But in the remaining 15 minutes, something different happened. I need to find out the correct expression. The greens became greener, or the birds became more birdy? Eventually my senses felt highly relaxed, visions became more evident and Loud noises within me turned to mute. Without any mentor support or guided instructions, I was experiencing Mindfulness.
