On this National STEM/STEAM day, take 10 minutes out of your busy schedules and think about how you could take 1 action that might help shape the future of our profession! It might include learning about ITE's huge library of resources for students ranging from Kindergarten through High School - it might include getting involved with a local chapter or section activity that promotes the transportation professional - it might include donating to a local scholarship fund dedicated to STEM/STEAM education - or it might include talking to a teacher (everyone knows a teacher!) and volunteering to talk to their students about what it is you do for a living, and how great our industry is! Whatever you choose to do, no matter how small or how big, can and WILL make a difference for all of our futures!
Today is STEM/STEAM Day! Make sure to check out the terrific, age-appropriate resources curated by the ITE STEM Committee to help encourage the future generation of transportation professionals! https://bit.ly/3Qh58z5

Civi society organisations and the EESC have to play more active role in the governance of the TA 2030 and contribute to the priorities that have been set. Stefano Palmieri, former President of the ECO Section of the EESC and rapporteur of the opinion on the Revision of the Territorial Agenda 2030 highlights the example of the LEADER/CLLD program, where public and private entities collaborate effectively. Palmieri emphasizes the need for a similar approach in Integrated Territorial Investments (ITIs) to ensure a "balanced view of the community's development needs." And I am thrilled to join! 🙌 Electrification and decarbonisation emerge as lucrative ventures in the race towards a sustainable future. But what does it take to turn the tide toward net zero? And how can we navigate the turbulent waters of green transition? That is the big questions that we will discuss! 🌿🌎
We are thrilled to have Marlene Burwick as a panellist at our seminar on the Green Transition on 13 June. Marlene is the Director Public Affairs and Acting CEO of St1 Sverige AB, where she has worked with energy transition and sustainable fuels since 2022.
