It goes by many names Sloppy Joes are also called yum-yum, slush burger, dynamite, Manwich, and barbecue. 2. Meet Joe's sister, Jane Though they are the same thing, the sloppy Jane is considered the healthier version of sloppy Joe. 3. More than beef The ground beef filling can be replaced with chicken, chuck roast, and turkey. 4. Open to vegans The sloppy Joe recipe is also modified to suit vegans. 5. For a tight budget Sloppy Joes were first created for those with small food budgets.

Read below for five different ways to create delicious bacon: - American bacon: thin slices of pork belly that are usually cured and smoked. - Canadian bacon: thick round slices of pork loin, usually cured and smoked. - Pancetta: seasoned and salt-cured meat cut from the pig’s underside. - Prosciutto: salt-cured bacon cut from the hind leg of a pig and often uncooked. - Uncured bacon: bacon cured without using artificial nitrates.

Season chicken thighs with the Green Chile Bacon Rub and ranch seasoning. Let it marinate for 15 minutes to soak up all that flavor. 2. Preheat your Green Mountain Grill to 300°F. 3. Grill the chicken until it’s nearly done. Meanwhile, crisp up that bacon to perfection. 4. When chicken reaches 155°F, top each thigh with a roasted green chile, a slice of bacon, and a slice of American cheese. Keep it on the grill until the internal temp hits 165-170°F. 5. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for those juices to settle. 6. Toss those slider buns on the grill to get them toasted and smoky. 7. Assemble your sliders: chicken, bacon, and chile cheese goodness between those smoky buns. Eggplant Parmesan for dinner tonight turned out delicious. For the first time I sliced the eggplant lengthwise, and I really liked how that turned out. Thinner individual slices, and the stack was also shorter. Did not have regular marinara sauce, so I used Rao’s pizza sauce, and it was delicious. It is really good quality. One of the most important steps is “sweating the eggplant” for about 30 minutes before you start preparing the slices with egg and breadcrumbs. This involves slicing it, adding a little kosher salt, and stacking it with a heavier plate on top to press down. This makes the bitter juice drain out and really improves the flavor. Chicken soup doesn’t taste like chicken. As I am tucking into a tasty can of chicken soup, I have to admit it doesn’t taste anything like chicken. Chicken soup tastes like chicken soup, and we are all fine with that. It highlights the importance of questioning and testing our solutions.
