Co-host of Podcast 'Sarah and T' & Former Owner, Winter Park Lodging Company and Steamboat Lodging Company
Lots of talk about the future of vacation rental conferences these days. Here are Tim and Sarah's thoughts on all the hub-bub including their advice to make them worth going to again. Thank you to Margot Schmorak, Steve Trover - Better Talent & Justin Ford for the inspiration. https://lnkd.in/gPvCenQy
Loved that podcast. Really like the idea of dictating the content and dictating who presents it. Liked the references to Expedia conferences. I still think the best conference I ever attended was Expedia in Vegas prior to covid probably /2018, John Suzuki was fantastic. Totally agree, the smaller conferences might be the future. On a personal note, Jeremy Gall has been hinting at an in person conference. He makes a habit of doing this differently and better than everyone else. I will be watching this one closely if it materializes.
I love the comment about those that sit in the back of the room. I am a back-of-the-room dweller myself. It allows me to view the presentation and the interest of those around me. Often, presenters fail to hold the attention of the cheap seaters, who tend to be the newer PMs or first-time attendees.
Is Sarah Bradford the VRM Mary Poppins dispensing truth with a spoonful of sass and fun? Thanks for the MasterMind shout out!

5moSarah, I’m responding to your question about the Thanks for Visiting conferences. The conference organized by Annette and Sarah was truly exceptional. They curated outstanding content, and attendees left feeling inspired and eager for more. With industry experts as speakers and a select group of vendors, the event was a valuable experience. I was honored to speak at both conferences and present my “ Art of Clean” talk at their inaugural event in Las Vegas. It’s my understanding they are gonna sit this year out and focus on social content.
