One of the best resources I’ve seen on the internet in a long time and I don’t think it’s only for high schools. We use a very very similar approach to understand and support stress behavior with kids from 3-13. If it’s humanistic, it’s humanistic. If you plan on having a demo available for Next Fest, you definitely should try this! Get a pre-recorded broadcast of your demo up at least a full week before the start of Next Fest. Steam Next Fest 2024 The Steam Next Fest is coming to its end and we are dishing the inside scoop. There are some projects that immediately caught our attention and we are here to share our excitement with you: Mullet Mad Jack from @Hammer95studios (https://lnkd.in/eBaBE89a) instantly grabbed our attention with its unapologetically wacky vibe. This neon-coated FPS throws players into a robot-ruled dystopia where everyone is fused with the internet and needs a constant dopamine fix to survive. Rescuing an influencer princess while livestreaming the mayhem? Sign us up! We are ALL about the fast and chaotic homage to old school shooters, with sexy '80s-'90s anime inspiration. For those who prefer methodical, high risk battles, Dungeonborne from Mithril Interactive (https://lnkd.in/e2FYtTWJ) is exactly it. A crazy blend of deliberate dark fantasy combat with elements of extraction shooters and battle royale, captured in gorgeously grim visuals. We stand the distinct magic and melee classes with complementary strengths. And the weighty PvPvE clashes make every move feel consequential, keeping us on edge. Another breathtaking discovery is Signalis from rose engine (https://lnkd.in/eMKAgwkb) — a creepy retro-futuristic setting straight out of a PS1 survival horror romp. The glitchy visuals and granular 3D aesthetics are chef's kiss while you piece together the tragic tale of a synthetic worker named Elster. Exploring the surreal, oppressive facility and fending off hordes of freaky machines hits all our horror sweet spots. Of course, these are not the only bright findings at the whole festival. Steam Next Fest Tip #6 Run a pre-recorded broadcast 24/7 at least one week prior to the start of Next Fest! By having a pre-recorded broadcast showing off gameplay of the demo that you'll have available during Next Fest running on a loop prior to the start of Next Fest will help in driving up anticipation, and creating momentum towards the availability of the demo. It will naturally lead to more discoverability to your store page, and will give those interested a form of playing the game without being able to actually play your game. This should help in driving up follows/wishlists, and will also help in pushing your demo up the line for demos to try at the beginning of Next Fest for those that found your broadcast before the start of the event. #Steam #NextFest #GameIndustry #IndieGameDev
