Recently, I sat at a meeting, and it hit me! Sterile processing isn't all subjective, there is a factual component to it. Have you considered the math?!?! Sterilizer cycles, washers, and other machines only hold so much product (?), they all take a certain amount of time (?) Even the staff have math associated with their ability to produce. Have you considered your department’s math? Before taking on another instrument set or department’s load of "latest and greatest devices" consider the math of your department and how does accepting more workload affect your department’s ability to produce a great product!

How do you clean your lab. Machine? Is it by soap, alcohol or clorex? Or what? Is it our choice? Definitely no.. It is manual instruction job only.. In our lab we have one machine that is cleaned by a damp gauze with soap then dried by dry gauze... Another machine by gauze and alcohol and third one by gauzed soaked by clorex with dilution of 1:9 with water... Do you use another material in cleaning? And for what device Thanks🙃
