I have been asking the “why” of things my whole life, and that has led me into Odysseys and fruitful quests. It’s been a movie.
It is the need for things to make sense - digital inclusion in costumer and clients experiences, accessibility in design, representation in tech, uneven art frames o que a la comida le falte una hojita de cilantro como decoración - that when things are out of line for whatever reason, I try to think of all that must be done to amend the situation.
Being a recipient of this award is a testament, of not only the wonderful space for equitable innovation and overdue repairs, but for the opportunity that change has to be our driver, an incentive for growth, and a persistent challenge to us - Progress is nonlinear. Let’s get creative.

We’ve heard the phrase “Keep Calm and Carry On” used for everything from work to relationships, but our quote this month encourages us to keep calm in the face of difference. What does that mean?
