Certainly very excited about the possibilities that AI can bring to reduce healthcare disparities. Biases are so hard to eliminate, especially that caveat (among others) where healthcare data can be input by biased persons. Science published a very interesting paper about this topic a couple of years ago. Nonetheless, steps forward are the absolute best that we can do, and I'm very happy about its future. “Tech doesn’t work unless it works for everyone!” We agree and applaud 👏Sanofi for requiring risk assessments and having a responsible AI Governing Body in place to mitigate the risk of AI bias (influenced by humans that train it!).
