The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has revealed details of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious bid to host the largest-ever FIFA World Cup in a single country. This announcement follows the submission of Saudi Arabia’s official bid book for the FIFA World Cup 2034 at a FIFA ceremony in Paris, France.
The official bid slogan, "Growing. Together." has received full support from Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The bid book details Saudi Arabia’s extensive plans and infrastructure projects, showcasing the Kingdom’s historic transformation and its strategy to successfully host one of the world’s largest sporting events.
Saudi Arabia has proposed five host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2034: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and NEOM – one of the Kingdom’s most significant future city projects. The bid includes 15 advanced stadiums, with 11 being newly planned. Riyadh alone will feature 8 stadiums, including the new King Salman Stadium:
