"Line Trap OR Wave Trap in a SubStation" Our power system works at a specific rated frequency. For communication purposes, we use high-frequency signals. Normally, there is a huge difference between the power frequency and communication signals. These communication signals can be used between different substations for: •Remote Data Monitoring •Voice Communication •Data Transfer •Substation Control Before entering a high-frequency signal in the substation, it will offer higher opposition, and so our systems will operate at the normal rated frequency. What are the main requirements for power generation units to connect to the German grid? Depending on which connection point we are going to use, there are different German standards for grid connection: • VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11. Generators connected to the low-voltage distribution network – Technical requirements for the connection to and parallel operation with low-voltage distribution networks. • VDE-AR-N 4110:2018-11. Technical requirements for the connection and operation of customer installations to the medium voltage network (TCR medium voltage). • VDE-AR-N 4120:2018-11. Technical requirements for the connection and operation of customer installations to the high voltage network (TCR high voltage). • VDE-AR-N 4130: 2018-11. Technical requirements for the connection and operation. Of customer installations to the extra high voltage network (TCR extra high voltage). The full process goes through testing, simulation and certification method described in: • DIN VDE V 0124-100: 2020-06. Grid Integration of power generation systems-low voltage. • TG 3 – provision the electrical properties of generating units and -Investments, memory such as for whose components at the central, High- and extra high voltage grid. Rev 26. • TG 4 – Demands on Modelling and Validating Simulation Models of the Electrical characteristics of Power Generating Units and Systems, Storage Systems as well as for their Components. Rev 9. • TG 8 – Certification of the Electrical Characteristics of Power Generating Units, Systems and Storage Systems as well as for their Components to the Grid.
