Did you know that 1 in 6 individuals worldwide live with a disability? In the U.S., this accounts for approximately 44 million adults. This is a very large number of our colleagues, family and friends. These are people who also:  - Are less likely to complete an undergraduate degree.  - Are unemployed at rates 3.7% higher than workers without a disability.  - Are more than twice as likely as non-disabled individuals to work only part-time.  - Tend to earn approximately 43% less.  Because there is so much we can do as business owners, leaders and advocates to empower change, we have provided some thoughtful insights this Disability Pride Month to help you and your team take intentional action.  #DisabilityPrideMonth #TriNetBlog #TriNetDEI #DisabilityPride #InclusiveWorkplace #Inclusivity Dafni LeFlore, CPA

Did you know that July is Disability Pride Month? Disability Pride Month started in 1990, soon after the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990. This month is dedicated to honoring the journeys, achievements, and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, whether those disabilities are visible or not.
