Oregon is home to some of the most robust forestland in the world. It is where our team started—building and engineering some of the first large-scale #masstimber structures in the U.S. Oregon is where we launched our first fabrication operations, continuing our mission of advancing this building methodology into every market possible. With each step of our evolution, we've identified pinch points in the mass timber supply chain and used our expertise to strengthen the market for glulam and cross-laminated timber products. Today, we are excited to announce our acquisition of American Laminators, a company renowned for its superior glue-laminated timber products, which have graced stunning mass timber projects nationwide. Since its establishment in 1962, American Laminators has been one of the premier manufacturers of custom glulam in the United States. They are known for producing the longest-spanning glulam in North America, with maximum spans of 130 feet. The Drain and Swisshome, Oregon locations have been operating for over 60 years, utilizing local Douglas Fir, Southern Yellow Pine, and Alaskan Yellow Cedar, accounting for an annual capacity of 20 million board feet. Each facility will undergo operational upgrades to continue enhancing product optimization and continuing the legacy of manufacturing in these forest-rich communities. “American Laminators has a rich history of producing high-quality glulam products.
