People have been approaching us about the game our nonprofit is developing. Although our Kickstarter page doesn't reveal much yet, we have additional details, art, videos, and playable demos internally tested. This marks our exciting first venture into gaming, focusing on disability in a unique way. I think focusing on what we will and can deliver is more important than talking about what we could have done instead, and that was the nature of some of the feedback we have received. While some initial ideas didn't make the final cut, we are proud of what we've achieved. Our inclusive Village-building game premise has constraints, and we can't cater to every suggestion. We're thrilled with our progress and remain focused on our vision. So bear with us although this initial attempt cannot be everything for everyone, and some suggestions for plot and characters are outside of what we able and intended to build at this stage. Our main focus is teaching people about accessibility. July marks Disability Pride Month in the UK, an opportunity to raise awareness of disabilities, start positive conversations and celebrate the diversity and differences of the disabled community 💛 It's no secret that accessibility can be a barrier for those with disabilities to enter the world of gaming, and there is some great work carried out by organisations and charities such as SpecialEffect and Can I Play That? to combat these issues.
