Onwards and upwards for team Sezzle!

Given that pitch slaps are still alive and well (I get them daily), I'm curious what your thoughts are on ideal timing for reaching out to a new connection after they accept your invite. No amount of time will help bad/irrelevant messaging, but for those with relevant things to discuss, what makes sense?

When customer and vendor teams work together it can be magic or mayhem. What do I mean by that? Magic: -the vendor implements a clear plan from day 1 and sticks to it -transparent communication from both sides when events occur that put the plan at risk -customer stakeholders are engaged (show up to meetings, complete deliverables on time, etc.) Mayhem: -meetings constantly rescheduled -deliverables missed (on customer and vendor side) -no clear direction about what happens next -customer ultimately ends up churning, or worse, is unhappy and stays The solution? Process. With a well-established customer journey process, there’s minimal room for ambiguity. Customers are paying thousands of dollars, oftentimes much more, for these solutions; if they wanted to do all the work, they would build the solution in-house. Your job as a vendor is to guide them through the process and deliver on the value that sales overpromised (extra points if you laughed at that). Invest in building an elite customer journey process, and you’ll be surprised at the momentum gained by your business. #customerjourney #revops #csops
