I cannot start my year without this (free) tool 👇 If you feel like your year is just happening to you instead of for you, this might change everything. For the past five years, I’ve used YearCompass to reflect on my year and set intentions for the next. ✨ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁: 1️⃣ It helps you look back at your year to uncover lessons you might have missed. 2️⃣ It gives clarity. And clarity is the foundation of all good decisions. 3️⃣ It’s free, simple, and surprisingly powerful. One thing I absolutely love? The lists of three. - 3 people that influenced me the most? - 3 things I want to achieve next year. - 3 things I'll have the power to say no to. ✨ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁? It’s free, simple, and surprisingly powerful. You just some quiet time and a willingness to be honest with yourself. I'll drop the link in the comments. ✌️

I’ve come to realise that new year resolutions are just what most people may do for the sake of doing, which I think it defeat the purpose and becomes meaningless. Most of it never comes to pass or achieved. What’s more practical is that; if you have a goal to achieve, plan on it. If you have a dream to fulfil, work on it! Everyday is a new day, you don’t need a special day or festive season to do something special. Do you achieve anything if you set a resolution on a new year? Do you miss anything if you don’t and have a bad luck? What matters most is knowing your “why” when you have a goal, and “why” you are doing it and want to do it in fulfilling a dream. Without a reason and purpose, people usually give up along the way, blaming circumstances and find excuses why it didn’t work out. Do you have goals & dreams to share?

Are you thinking of listing your new year resolutions? PAUSE FOR A MINUTE⏸️ ✅️Do you really want to follow them. ✅️Think if it is momentary or impulsive thought. ✅️ What was stopping you to follow it earlier, is that reason going to disappear from 1st January. ✅️ Is your resolution the same as of last year, if yes, how sure you are not to carry it to the next year. A new year resolution is good but only if you act on it. If you don't work towards it can damage more than doing good. ☑️ It can lower your self-confidence. It makes you feel that you can't keep promises you make to your own self. ☑️ If you have shared your resolutions with other people and not working towards it, it can give them a reason to mock you. ☑️ Giving up on your own promised tasks keeps your morale low. Think twice before making a resolution this year. BTW what is your resolution this year?😜
