Very interesting article about the workforce in the pharma industry and how according to Nitin Rathore Vice President at Amgen, he believes the greatest way to accelerate development in the healthcare space is to put more importance on PEOPLE. Labour trends have changed dramatically in the last 10 years, especially after Covid. Things such as salaries, average time of tenures in jobs, higher turnover, more aggressive competition etc. Nitin believes pharmaceutical companies need to do more to meet the workforce standards of today and to train people more efficiently and quickly in order to make more progress with developments in science and technology over shorter periods of time. It may also enable companies to keep people for longer! I think Nitin makes some good points. I'd like to hear what my network thinks too... #pharmaceuticals #pharma #biopharmacetucials #drugdelivery #healthcare #workforce

5 Common mistakes in process integration or improvement... have you unintentionally tripped over one of these🤔💭😔 My 'top 5' are: 1. Focusing too much on technology and not enough on culture - so many companies underestimate the impact of their culture on processes! 2. Failing to involve all relevant departments in the integration process - this is related to #1, again it's the 'people factor'. You want all stakeholders across changes or improvements. Don't think that you can leave some people out, because it will come back to bite you! 3. Not providing adequate training on new integrated processes - oh dear... how to shoot yourself in the foot, big time! And another related to this, is not allowing enough post go-live time for people to learn and get familiar with the new way of doing things. 4. Overlooking the need for continuous improvement - no process is ever 'set and forget'! There will always be better ways of working or improvements with systems or upgrades. 5. Underestimating the complexity of integrating legacy systems - this is especially true for integrating new processes or systems within your QMS documentation. Please don't underestimate how long it might take, and how big a job it might be. We are often called in to fix this problem! What are your 'top 5'? Let's see them in the comments! #GMP #pharmaceuticals #medicaldevice #QMS
