JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout our manufacturing processes. From raw materials to the finished product, the inspector will conduct comprehensive quality control and assurance checks. This role requires a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to quality protocols and product specifications.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent required.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing (circuit boards, microinverters, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate MUST possess the following:
Technical Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of product and process inspection.
Strong foundation in GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), 5S methodology, and quality inspection specifications.
Experience with proper documentation, controlled documentation, and traceability.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.
Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and work instructions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reporting.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Capability to receive multiple instructions simultaneously and implement them accurately.
Preference for a background in mathematics.

Essential Responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assigned visual inspections and specified tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
Testing, inspecting, and approving raw materials based on established quality specifications.
Identifying faults in materials and manufacturing processes through observation and testing.
Utilizing statistical methods to evaluate product samples and assess the quality of full product batches.
Comparing inspection and test results to company quality standards, and reporting findings to the supervisor.
Maintaining quality records and creating logs, charts, and forms detailing quality levels, inspection data, and special quality studies.
Collaborating with the supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations for questionable products.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a full-time, in-person position.
The job may require prolonged standing, and the ability to lift at least 40 pounds of product / material.
