Excited to share Laerdal Medical's guide on using simulation to prepare new nurse graduates for clinical practice. This resource highlights how high-fidelity simulations bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world nursing. New nurses develop critical thinking and clinical skills in a safe environment through hands-on, scenario-based training. Laerdal's guide emphasizes the role of simulation in boosting confidence and competency, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. Highly recommended for educators and healthcare institutions committed to nurturing the next generation of nurses. #NursingEducation #HealthcareInnovation #ClinicalSimulation #NewNurseGraduate #PatientSafety

Alarming statistics. 30% new nurses leave current positions in first year. 50% leave within two years. Simulations can help you recruit and retain these nurses!

I know my mother and grandmother, who were both nurses, were watching from above. Chamberlain University asked me to speak about what I've learned in my unusual nursing career for the nursing graduates. I spoke about four key lessons I've learned. I. If you want a career that exceeds your dreams, set a long-term aspiration. It will propel you forward. II. If you want a career that exceeds your dreams, be open to side streets they might take you even further than that main path you were imagining. III. If you want a career that exceeds your dreams, it is mandatory to take good care of yourself. IV. If you want a career that exceeds your dreams, you have to know that you deserve it. https://lnkd.in/gniFeXRm
