When 11 in 100 female Idahoans will die from breast cancer within five years of diagnosis – we know prevention matters. This week, we partnered with Stampede for the Cure at the Snake River Stampede where more than $100,000 in funds were raised in the fight against breast cancer! “Idaho ranks 50th in the nation in breast cancer screenings,” shared Clint Child, President of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa and President of the Snake River Stampede Board of Directors. “The Stampede for the Cure really found that there is a big gap in preventative screenings, and we need to close it. It's important to not only Saint Alphonsus, but to the community.” Breast Cancer Center Manager Heidi Bourget has seen the need and strong community health partnership that provides screening and diagnostic breast care services to those underserved women in the community. “We graciously thank the Stampede for their generosity in providing funding for those women who may not get the critical screening and diagnostic exams if the funds were not available to them,” she said last night. Take a look at the photo recap from all the fun yesterday at Pink on the Dirt and Pink Night at the rodeo. To continuing the fight against breast cancer! #ourcallingisyou #breastcancerawareness #breastcancerscreening

When the entire breast cancer community pulls together, there’s so much we can accomplish. Last we were so privileged to work with amazing organizations, artists, advocates, and partners on a truly once-in-a-lifetime event that ended up being a hugely successful fundraiser. Reblossom is a beautiful coffee table book, created by @JonthanBankMD and photographer @ErezSabag. The book captures the poignant yet inspirational stories of 12 women who have been affected by breast cancer. We were tasked with creating a release party for Reblossom that would also serve as a fundraising event to benefit Living Beyond Breast Cancer, an organization that connects breast cancer patients and their care teams with trusted information and a community of support. The entire celebration was sponsored by Allergan Aesthetics. Coral Collective planned and executed a high-profile soiree at prominent NYC art gallery @LavanChelsea. The highlight of the glamorous event was a fully immersive exhibit. To help fuel the momentum on social media and more deeply engage with those who attended the event, we also created an innovative filter that superimposed artful flowers over a selfie or an image. The event was a huge success, drawing a crowd of more than 1,000 people. The Reblossom book sold out completely sold out at the event, which generated more than $12,000 for Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Copies of Reblossom are still available for purchase on the LBBC website, with 100% of proceeds going to support the breast cancer community. #bigagencyattitude #womenowned #digitalmarketing #latinaowned #eventmanagement #breastcanceradvocacy #empoweredwomen #reblossom #successstories #livingbeyondbreastcancer

As many of you know, my wife (Valeria Lento Palmertree) was diagnosed with breast cancer last year while pregnant with our daughter. Today, both are happy and healthy, with Valeria in remission after kicking cancer's @$$! With her one year survivorship, we want to participate in events to help spread awareness and cancer research. We've seen firsthand the impact of cancer research, especially with Val's Triple Positive Cancer diagnosis. A few years ago this diagnosis would have had a different outlook, however there are now targeted treatments to defeat it. I also want to recognize the courageous women who paved the way for Val by undergoing chemotherapy during pregnancy to advance studies in this field and prove that it is a safe and viable treatment option for both Mom and baby. Join Val's Team, the aptly named F*CK Cancer Committee, as we aim to raise $2,000 for cancer treatment. If you're interested in donating, use the link to support the cause. And if you're in Hampton Roads, join us on November 2nd at the oceanfront event! #CancerAwareness #BreastCancerSurvivor #ResearchMatters #FightAgainstCancer

The pill that will be offered to thousands of women in the United Kingdom to prevent breast cancer This milestone has been considered a "significant step" in the fight against cancer by various charities specialized in patients with this disease. Results from recent trials indicate that anastrozole can reduce the incidence of breast cancer by almost 50% in postmenopausal women with significant family history of cancer. This decision marks a significant breakthrough in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, providing a valuable option for those women at risk. At the NHS, we want our patients to have the best experience possible and having continuous patient feedback is crucial in helping us to deliver what patients want and need. The national Cancer Patient Experience Survey (CPES) asks for feedback from cancer patients (16 years and over*), to inform and improve local cancer services across England. Those who were treated for cancer as an inpatient or day-case, and left hospital in April, May or June 2023, will be invited to take part in the survey. The NHS and cancer charities use the results to understand what is working well and which areas need improvement. The results enable them to identify national and local priorities and work with patients and partners to deliver change. The 2023 CPES fieldwork will begin in autumn 2023, with results available next year. For more information on the survey and how to access help and support in completing it, please visit https://bit.ly/3QHnDOl *For those aged 16 and under, feedback is collected via the Under 16 Cancer Patient Experience Survey: https://bit.ly/46e3Drr #CPES #Cancer #patientfeedback

I need your support. Colorectal cancer rates are rising in people under age 50. And people from Black and underserved communities are at higher risk. It is the second deadliest cancer in the United States. All of this is bad, but it’s even worse when you consider the fact that colorectal cancer is highly preventable. The majority of people who die from this disease could have been saved with preventive screening or early detection. If 50,000 deaths every year from a highly preventable disease doesn't warrant urgent attention, then what does? That’s why I will #WalkLoud at the Walk to End Colon Cancer this year. I believe the energy to end this disease must match its devastating impact. We need to stop the silence. We need to reject the stigma. We need to cancel this killer. Will you join me today by contributing to my Walk fundraiser? The Walk raises funds for the national nonprofit Colorectal Cancer Alliance and its life-saving programs to screen, care, and cure. By supporting my fundraiser, you have the chance to help thousands of patients, survivors, and caregivers navigate colorectal cancer and beat this disease. You will also be amplifying prevention awareness and inspiring critical research.
