UpLift Live is the UK’s first LinkedIn-focused conference and takes place on 21 March 2024 at Millennium Point in Birmingham. The "Mission Control" team, John Espirian, Jeremy Freeman, and Gus Bhandal, have been working diligently for months to create the best conference experience ever! 👏 Which starts with an amazing lineup of international speakers: ⭐️ Louise Brogan ⭐️ Nigel Cliffe ⭐️ Mark Williams ⭐️ John Espirian ⭐️ Gillian Whitney (me) ⭐️ Kevin D. Building better businesses | Solutions for busy business owners that are looking to scale but stay sane 🤸♂️ | LinkedIn Top Voice | 🤸 Admin Industry Cheerleader 🤸 | 👉 Find me in The VA Lounge ®
Tomorrow I'll be heading down to the VA Capital of the world for a few days - otherwise known as Bournemouth! 🚗 The VA Conference & Awards returns! I can not believe a year has gone by since the 2023 event and what an impact the conference made on me and the business. New connections, not just in VAs, but with the amazing speakers on the day. I'm super excited (maybe not about the 4 hour drive - road trip song choices and service station suggestions welcome) to swap the desk and zoom for some real faces, lots of learning, a small mini break for me and hopefully some sunshine. Looking forward to catching up with The VA Lounge ® tribe as well as some industry treasures! And of course, be able to meet so many VAs that I know from here in person for the first time. There is of course the amazing lineup that The Amanda Johnson has curated with sessions on confidence and of course AI to name a few. Also excited to hear that there might be a tech tool and new software to learn about from one of the sponsors, Kirmada. Networking with other VAs and The VA Conference is about new ideas, being in a room with others that know the struggle, and forming alliances for future collabs & connections. I found loads of new partners-in-crime last year and we've collaborated on skills sessions, LinkedIn Lives, connections within each other’s networks and most importantly built more community for the industry. Learning from VAs who’ve been there, done that, and got the to-do list to prove it and hearing all of the different approaches and stories from the industry is one of my biggest takeaways - and I can not wait to see what happens at, and after, this year's event! Who else is heading down? See you by the sea! 🌊
