** Throwback Thursday ** Let's take a look at our many conferences over the years. We organized one in 2018 and six in 2022 - thanks to the support of our members and growing CAASA team! Today we look at the 2019 edition of our flagship CAASA Annual Conference (the one that started it all!). Following on the inaugural one, this was bigger and better and held at the newly-renovated Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montréal. We had many great speakers from across Canada and around the world and added Table Talks to the long list of sponsor benefits - sadly, we had them scheduled during some pretty compelling content in other rooms so the price of $0 for sponsors was possibly the only thing that made the value proposition make sense. From this, of course, we learned that, like the 1:1 meeting times offered at each conference, we would never schedule Table Talks during any other session and that surely helped make future ones a success! Of course, Ranjan Bhaduri at Bodhi Research Group really made it happen for us as well - he organized quality content as usual! This, we believe, is a golden ratio that provides value to all attendees. We also like to keep our conferences smaller (200-250 max) and would only increase delegate maximums if we have the requisite (40%+) block of investors already registered. We're in this for the long-haul and for member value!
