We are seeing a remarkable resurgence in global air travel around the world! According to ACI World - Airports Council International — ACI World, passenger traffic has returned to near pre-pandemic levels, with 8.5 billion passengers in 2023 and a recovery rate of 93.8% from 2019 levels. Interestingly, the international market drove recovery with a 36.5% growth rate compared to the domestic market's 20.2%, indicating the appetite among travelers to journey to more distant destinations. Here are some of the key highlights: ✅ Dubai International Airport reaching second place ✅ Tokyo Haneda Airport moving from 16th to 5th place ✅ Continued strength and progress from Istanbul and New Delhi airports since 2019 The growth and evolution of international transportation hubs over time are a testament to our industry's resilience and adaptability. Great news it shows that the travel industry comes back to the historic level 2019 was, with also more consolidated travel and better use of air transport facilities it could be a more mindful way to handle our travel behavior all together
