🛑 🖲 OpenAI’s GPT-4 has demonstrated the capability to autonomously exploit zero-day vulnerabilities with a 53% success rate. Zero-day vulnerabilities are among the most critical threats in cybersecurity, as they are unknown to software vendors and, therefore, unpatched, leaving systems at risk of exploitation. According to a study by computer scientists at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, GPT-4 has managed to autonomously hack one-day (or N-day) vulnerabilities. This could mean that AI can help organizations strengthen their cybersecurity posture by proactively identifying and mitigating threats before they can be exploited by malicious actors. #ai #cybersecurity Learn more about it here: https://lnkd.in/gR4YWZMb
