Setup interview for No Rest for the Wicked with The New York Times. I have so much admiration for the Times and am lucky being a small part of pulling this together (big part due to Tara Bruno & her team's ongoing support). What may be interesting, to anyone who has followed the ARPG genre, is how the Moon Studios team is approaching their game with a "handcrafted approach" vs. more recent trends of procedural generation. Matt Nava, designer behind Journey, claims “Whether the game is good, bad, moral or immoral depends less on the level of proceduralism and more on the design choices behind it.” Not advocating a right or wrong choice here either. 🔫👩 Tomb Raider I- III Remastered launched last week so we've compared its critical reception with various titles in the same video game genre. This remaster collection provides nostalgia for fans of the classic franchise. Players can expect graphics toggle (switch between the original and remastered visuals), new models, environments, and enemies. Finally, Lara Croft’s iconic model has seen a substantial update on the original design. ⚙The title appears lower down the review ranks losing out to Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1 in the action-adventure genre. Impressively the title stands at 15th for all games so far this year beating recently released Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
