At the 77th World Health Assembly (WHA), Member States endorsed a resolution to implement, strengthen and sustain regular and meaningful social participation in decision-making processes for health. On that occasion, a Eurohealth special issue was launched seeking to clarify what social participation is and what it is not, why it should be prioritised, and how it can be advanced at country level. We contributed to this special issue with an article "Empowering people: How to ensure equitable representation for improved health system governance". 💡 During the upcoming 77th #WorldHealthAssembly, the World Health Organization Member States plan to discuss the final draft for a new international agreement on pandemic governance. On this occasion, IDOS and the trinational research project FRAMENET at Technische Universität Dresden are organising an online policy event to discuss the possibilities and challenges for a transformation of international health data sharing rules in the context of the negotiations to the Pandemic agreement. Eight months ago, WHO Europe hosted a meeting on "Behavioural and Cultural Insights" in Copenhagen, Denmark. Finally, the Meeting Statement of the delegates is published in the journal "Public Health in Practice".
