#NoEyeOnMiddleClass If you earn X rupee a year, you would end up paying almost 65-70% as taxes to government 😭, Overall we almost work 8 months a year for government and still get nothing in return 😞. I'm a middle-class Indian and feel the burden of our tax system. Despite paying 30-35% of my earnings as tax at source to government for development, I still pay to use same infrastructure. For example, I pay road tolls for roads built with my taxed money. On top of that, there's around ~30% GST on car purchases and gas to use the same infrastructure. GST is everywhere, even though I already pay a significant portion of my income in taxes. Yet, we get no benefits. Politicians talk about freebies for the poor or policies for the rich, but the middle class is ignored. No party addresses our issues in their election promises. We get no tax relief, and almost two-thirds of our paycheck goes to taxes. We can't even save enough peacefully for retirement because the Section 80C limit is too low for current inflation and future needs. Why does the middle class bear the brunt of the economy but get nothing in return? It's time to think about us too. We need eye on middle class too, We deserve justice. Seriously as a middle class guy and that too if you’ve dependent members, it is too tough to survive, we are just living days, we cannot grow if government of India doesn’t help us out. Some waive off to the corporate employees who’ve dependent members would actually benefit in some way.
