Last week, I attended THE Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA) conference in Chicago with Dave Robertson, owner of Robertson & Company Ltd. RobertsonRPO and Prime Hires. Listening to other RPO Thought Leaders and Tech Gurus driving innovation was exhilarating and thought provoking. As lifelong learners, Dave and I, both, had a lot to take in.
Here are my main takeaways from the conference: clients are asking for Innovation, Technology, and Guidance.
💡 This is what innovation looks like for clients. They want partners who can think creatively and come up with new ways to solve problems. They also need partners who are flexible enough to provide those solutions quickly.
🖲️ Technology is a big part of solutioning and agility. The corporate procurement process is too big of an engine to move. Clients will be seeking RPO partners with a healthy tech stack to optimize their process, gain efficiency and meet their corporate goals.
📈 Clients also need guidance based on data. They need deep analysis, not just general information, to understand the markets 3-wide, 3-deep. If RPOs aren’t providing that level of detail, clients are vulnerable to their competition.
These are the must-have table stakes.
The onus falls on RPOs to reinvest in their business, resources and technology to consistently outperform the clients expectations.
If anyone is looking for a great tech stack, deep intel, and innovation, we continue to make investments in these areas and provide the guidance you need. #robertsonrpo Maria Ricci Maria Arvanites (she/her/hers) CCWP
